Dermatitis

Dermatitis is irritation of the skin that can be caused by many substances people are exposed to in the work place. Common symptoms include itching, rashes and sore/cracking or flaking skin.

By law, employers have to protect all employees from exposure to harmful substances. If you are ill because your employer failed to protect you properly, you are entitled to seek compensation.

Substances that may cause dermatitis include:

  • Latex
  • Chemicals
  • Solvents
  • Hair dyes
  • Detergents

Get in touch with Raleys' specialist team if you think you have any dermatitis symptoms caused by your work place.
